Stalled on Archeology!!

Hi,

Yeah. Here's the issue I've come across. After playing the event for a few days I realized you get rather a lot of the daily special. When it was the Carosel, or World's Fair kit, it was great. But there has been quite a while now where there really hasn't been an enticing Daily Special. There's no way to see what's coming up either. I think we expect another Worlds Fair kit, and that's when I'll do it like crazy on most Worlds. So all my Worlds are caught up on the quest line and have about 2.5K scrolls on nearly every world.

I got quite a bit of GE done this week, but only completed level 4 on Dunarsund (I got a new Fountain of Youth there too). I got quite a few Diamonds from it though, and a couple of Wishing Well hits. Diamonds are now up to 2520!! I really need something to spend them on. Maybe the last BP for Statue of Zeus on my new Worlds, or I'm really thinking of extra slots in some special Military Buildings (Rogues, Champions, Drummers etc.). BTW: I got the BPs for Castel Del Monte on Dunarsund, and a guild mate got me goods for 170 FPs.  To have space for it, I stored all buildings from the Celtic set, as I'm not keen on it.

My two new Worlds are both to the end of Iron Age, and are pumping FPs into guild members Statue of Zeus to get BPs. On Cirgard, two more BPs are needed. On Noarsil, only one more BP is needed. I think I'll wait another week before paying any Diamonds for it.

I've built another goods building for Porcelain, and a Dragoon stables for a bit more military muscle. I've been leveling the Statue of Zeus, and the ARC, and have also loaded up the first couple of techs from Industrial era, so I can get that as soon as the Archeology event is over. That's the plan.

The plan is to level Cirgard and Noarsil to Early Middle Ages after the event too. Or should I just keep them in the Iron Age? Maybe I'll wait for a while, until I at least have a moderately leveled Statue of Zeus on them both.

Archeology Progress!!

Yes. The Archeology event is in full swing, and I'm making great progress on it on all 6 Worlds I play on. I'm now at or around quest 30 on all Worlds, and all the Airships are level 3 - 5. I'm really waiting for a good Daily Special to play the mini-game on many Worlds, but did play it was Wishing Well Shrink Kit on my 2 WW farm Worlds (Dunarsund and Sinerania). They got a couple of them on each world, saving some space. The event itself is fine, and using the 395 Kit is the best way to go, to get the best bang for your Scroll buck.

The Wishing Well total went up one as I bought one from the Antiques Dealer on Dunarsund. The Diamond Total went up without really trying, as I didn't complete GE4 on any world, and only got to GE4 on one World. I'm really concentrating on getting the Archeology rush quests done.

On my 2 latest Worlds, they are now both at the end of Iron Age, and are pumping FPs into lots of Statue of Zeus, so they can get one for themselves. Here's a look at one of them.

Cottages, Butchers, Goat Farms, 4 goods buildings, and some happiness ones too. There's the level 4 Airship too.

It's working fine. I have about 30 friends now, and I'm only on about page 700 of the listing for the World. I probably hit 1 or 2 with this avatar each 50 players.

My First ARC!!

Yes. I was one Blueprint short of an ARC on Brisgard, and didn't have any goods for it. I asked in Guild chat how I would get the goods, and they hooked me up with someone that would take 200 FPS and 1:2 trades to get all the goods. Once I got the goods, I couldn't resist paying 200 Diamonds for the BP I was missing. So, now I have an ARC!!!

As you can see, that's not the only change this week. I now have a Statue of Zeus too. Why? You may well ask. Here's the answer. Why not? It's got such a small area required that I thought I might as well have it. It may help with conquering sectors (when goods are low) or for fighting parts of daily quests that I just give up on now.

Nearly all my Breweries have been updated to Sailmakers now, and there's one Tobacco Plantation too. Supplies are over 1M now.

I'm also preparing for the Archeology Event that starts tomorrow. As you can see, there's a nice black 7x3 area in this top left of this city. I've made sure I have a similar area in every city too.

As for Diamonds, they went up nicely this week, even after spending 200. I got a couple of hits on Wishing Wells this week, and used a fair bit for extra Negotiating turns too. Most came from GE. Particularly GE level 4. I completed level 4 on 4 Worlds this week.

Something else really fun happened this week. On one of the Dailies on Noarsil, there was a 5% chance of a Wishing Well. Boom! Got it :) So, one new Wishing Well this week. Oh and I got a fountain of Youth from GE on Houndsmoor too. I've found that they are the the same as Wishing Wells, so I need to count them too.

Two New Worlds!!

Hi,

Yes, I decided that 4 Worlds just weren't enough for me. I want to have more Wishing Wells, and more GE completions etc. etc. I don't know what I'm going to use all the Diamonds for, but I just want more and more each week. So, I started on Cirgard and Noarsil. They were chosen because they're easy to remember names, and Cirgard fits between Brisgard and Dunarsund, and Noarsil fits between Houndsmoor and Sinerania :)

They both made it to the Iron Age now, and they're almost in exactly the same position. They need to get Cottages to improve Population, and then they can get Iron Age Goods buildings and Military ones too. They will probably stop at the end of Iron Age for a while to try to get Statue of Zeus BPs.

On Brisgard, I moved up to the Colonial Age. I was not prepared for the bottleneck in Techs after the first ones, that took tons of goods. I had to stop doing GE and trade for the those goods to progress. No Colonial buildings yet. But, one this, I did get the BPs for St Marks, and built it. Here's the city now:

So, Lighthouse, Temple of Relics, and St Marks now. You can see all the Apartment Houses I built, and all those Breweries for a side quest.

In other news, I actually completed level 4 in GE for the first time on both Houndsmoor and Sinerania. I got a lot of Diamonds from GE. But guess what? No Diamonds from WW this week. This is just bad luck, and I do hope my luck will change soon. but at least GE is working out well.

Oh, and I changed guilds on Dunarsund. The Land Component Guild was a small guild that I was sort of fine with. but there was someone in there with a pretty disgusting sexually explicit name. So I decided to leave to get in a better guild. I'm now in the guild 'Empire'.

Let's see how it's all progressing. BTW. I don't count Oracle of Delphi as a great building worth talking about because everyone gets that.

Spring Event Complete!!

Hi,

Spring Event is now complete on all 4 worlds I play on. I got the level 8 bridge on all of them. It was really close on one world, needing the 130 from the final quest to get across the pond for the last upgrade. I upgraded to the extra goods and FPs on Brisgard, and the extra attack one on all other 3 worlds.

I deleted all the blacksmiths I needed for the event. They came in very handy. On Dunarsund and Sinerania, I did wait until Wishing Wells were the Daily Special again. This was yesterday. I got 4 or 5 Wishing Wells on both of them!

Brisgard

Here's Brisgard again. You'll see I have a new Statue on Honor there. This was after I said in the guild messages that I wanted to help the guild level, and they suggested I build one. I'm still in Late Middle Ages there, and chilling, putting FPs into other people's ARCs, Observatories, St Marks, and other buildings. I'm maxed out the first techs of Colonial, and will probably move up next week, after the start of GE.

Dunarsund

This is Dunarsund, my WW and fighting city. Look at all the Wishing Wells there! Oh, and I'm building Tower of Babel to cut down on the number of houses I need. In fact, I'm doing that on all of my fighting worlds, and even thinking of placing it in Brisgard again, after deleting it last week :)

My Diamonds went up quite a lot this week. A lot came from GE, and I didn't use that many for extra turns on Negotiation. I got to level 4 of GE on one World, and negotiated it nearly to the end. Lots of Diamonds to be had in level 4.

On Houndsmoor, I did quit the guild I was in, and joined Houndsmoor Collective. It's the biggest guild I could find that I could could just 'Join'. I can't wait to hit GE on it this week.

Supplies and Coins Solved!!

Yep. I'm talking about my city on Brisgard of course. I was really suffering from a lack of coins and supplies. Here's how I solved it. Lots of Estate Houses for 1hr coinage. Also, making sure to aid friends and guildies as well as neighborhood occasionally. For supplies, I now have lots of Cooperages and a couple of Breweries to bring in thousands of supplies every 4 and 8 hours. Also, now that I've finished with the techs in the Late Middle Ages, I'm not spending so many supplies any more.

Oh, a couple of things you might notice from the above picture. 1. Where is the Tower of Babel? Well, after watching some videos about why it was bad, I deleted it. 2. Is that the Temple of Relics? Yes indeed it is. I've been waiting for the last BP for a while now, and I got it off an incident. I was ready to pay 200 Diamonds for it if necessary. I've got it to level 3 now, and have now stopped leveling it, and am putting my FPs into pre-loading the Colonial Age techs.

The things holding me bak now are goods from the High Middle Ages. To that end, I built another Herb Merchant so I'd have more to trade.

Diamonds went up nicely this week, even after paying about 50 for some negotiation extra turns. Nearly all the Diamonds came from GE, except for 50 from one Wishing Well. Talking about Wishing Wells, I did get several more this week.

In other Worlds, I kept on doing GE and Spring Event. Dunarsund and Sinerania are the two for Wishing Wells, and are waiting for it to be the Daily Special again. Houndsmoor is my pure fighting one, doing the event each day. There's an issue on Houndsmoor though. The guild doesn't unlock GE level 3. I might just have to change guild soon. Maybe at the end of the Spring Event. Oh, I got the Temple of Relics on Houndsmoor too :)

Rushing the Spring Event!!

Yes, the Spring Event is here, and I'm rushing my way through it on the four Worlds I play on. I've actually finished all the Rush quests on Houndsmoor, and am caught up on the Daily ones too. On the other Fighting Worlds, I've finished the Rush quests and am almost caught up. On Brisgard, I
'm behind a bit, and on the last Rush quest right now. So, I'll be caught up in a few days. Why the difference? Well, on Brisgard, I'm in Late Middle Ages, so the quests are all more difficult than my EMA cities. For example, complete 20 productions, instead of 12 productions.

Here's my city on Brisgard now. I re-constructed it with the re-construction tool, and now have residential across the top, and all the roads go down where I have the goods buildings, special buildings and production buildings. I have the GBs right next to the Town Hall.

Ahh, when you look at my Diamonds total, you'll be wondering why it's gone down. Well, I actually bought an expansion space with Diamonds on two different Worlds. These were for the Humani Bridge special building from the Spring Event. If I'd thought about it, I probably could have deleted some Residential buildings and re-organized the towns a bit, and then I would have had room. I'll do this when, and if, I ever get the Castel Del Monte on any of them. I got quite a few Diamonds back from GE, WW, and Story Quests. I'm seriously thinking about moving up in the Tech Tree on Houndsmoor soon too, leaving Dunarsund and Sinerania for EMA Wishing Well Cities with Fighting for GE.

Oh, from the Spring Event, when the Daily Special was a Wishing Well, I got a couple of them on Dunarsund. There wasn't really time to save up and do tons of the event with the special active. I hope that Wishing Wells will be the special again. I've got over 2K Lanterns saved up on both my WW Worlds.

On Brisgard, I'm still getting limited by Supplies, and now coins are starting to be a problem too. Coins have gone down from about 600K down to about 350K. I think this is a temporary problem during the Spring event, but I'll keep an eye on it. For the Supplies issue, I now have 3 farms, have built a couple of Cooperages and have just unlocked, and am just building (see picture), a couple of Breweries. While I didn't have enough supplies for Techs for a while, I put FPs into the Tower of Babel and got it to level 5.
