Summer Event Tomorrow!!

Hi,

Yes, another event starts tomorrow. It's the Summer Event. It looks like pretty much the same as other events in the game, but a couple of features make it really great. First, the main prize looks fantastic. The Governer's Villa is a 5x6 Building that provides tons of population, happiness, goods, FPs, and some Units!! This is amazing. It will be great on all my Worlds.

 I just have to find room for it on all my worlds. I have room on Brisgard, after using re-construction mode to lay things out better. I have room on Cirgard too, not having built CoA there yet. No room on Dunarsund yet, because all extra space was needed for Wishing Wells. No space on East-Nagach, but I have an idea of how to fit it in. I will need to delete the Jewelry Manufacturer and a couple of Blacksmiths, and maybe Store the Wishing Well. There's space on Houndsmoor (I stored a level 2 Pagoda to make room). No space on Noarsil, having just build CoA there. I could maybe store some of the Carousels there and move things around, as I have 5 of them! No space on Sinerania either, although there's a Pagoda Level 2 there also that could be stored. Here's a look at Sinerania, my 2nd Wishing Well farm city.

Sinerania

I guess the bad thing about the event is that you can't target Wishing Wells again. There is no daily special, and the Wheel of Fortune looks pretty random. I guess I could wait until there's a golden WW prize before spinning, and maybe that will be the way to go on my Dunarsund and Sinerania.

Well, I did a lot of GE this week too. I think I finished it on more worlds than I ever did before. 5 out of 7 I think. Only didn't complete it on Brisgard and East-Nagach. Brisgard because I didn't have the goods for the last couple of platforms of GE4. On East-Nagach, I only got to GE2, as the goods weren't there. With all the GE4 I did this week, I got quite a lot of Diamonds, but not as many as last week. I got a couple of Wishing Well hits too.

Oh, I got a couple more GBs this week. I got CDM on Brisgard, CoA on Noarsil, and ToB on East-Nagach.

That's about it for this week. I've made a list of all the Summer Event quests, and can't wait to try and rush them starting tomorrow.

So Many Diamonds!!

Hi,

Well well indeed. What a week for Diamonds it was. Guess how many I ended up with. 4845, that's how many!! That's 1130 for the week. Absolutely amazing! Of course, they came from the usual places. Most were from GE (much better luck this week on the 50% chances in GE4). Some were from Wishing Wells (they're really starting to pay off now, as I've got over 50 now!). There were even some from the story quests on Dunarsund, and the occasional 5 from incidents.

The Soccer Event is over, and I was able to focus much more on GE this week. The key is to get GE1 and GE2 done as soon as possible, using all the attempts on the first couple of days. Then use the other days to slog through GE3, and then do a lot of GE4 over the weekend. I got to GE4 on nearly every world. Even on East-Nagach, where I had to negotiate pretty much from GE2 onwards.

On Dunarsund, I did go to the High Middle Ages. In fact, I got to the end of High Middle Ages too. I didn't use any stored FPs, just used the ones I got each day (100 plus). I'm really happy with the way I'm doing it. I've only upgraded a couple of Special Buildings to HMA, and left others in EMA for previous era goods. Next week I won't need the Iron Age goods for GE, and that will be a relief. All the EMA troop buildings have been torn down and been replaced with the High Middle Ages versions. A very easy change actually, as they're all pretty much the same size!! All production buildings have been updated too. Oh yeah, I got tons more expansion space too, and placed a Drummer School and 4 more Wishing Wells! Let's take a look:

Dunarsund

On all other worlds, they've just been leveling the GBs with FPs, and accumulating goods and supplies and coins. 

I don't think I'll make 1000 Diamonds every week, but it was great to get that many this week. I think I might be spending more next week and beyond now. I think I want to get over 5000 and maybe keep it there.

Soccer Event Disappointment!!

Hi,

Yes, pretty disappointed in it, but playing it on all Worlds anyway, and pretty much enjoying the building reward from it. So, what's the disappointment?

Well, I played every day, checking incidents all the time, getting all quests done, and still didn't make it to the upgrade after Wishing Well Shrink Kit on any world. That means that without getting to Silver League, the buildings will be level 6 and level 5. Any world in Silver League (top 10% of all on that world), will get 6/6. I really don't know why Inno could not have made it slightly easier in training and got us all to that last upgrade, and only required Bronze League for 6/6. Oh well.

Another disappointment is the amount of RNG in the event. RNG in getting player cards, tournament results and all the other stuff. I don't really mind the randomness of getting the daily specials on either the training or tournament. I got a good helping of tracks on most worlds.

So, I'm sort of happy that the event is almost over. I really wish they'd scrap the whole tournament side of it. The randomness of that, and the player cards, was awful.

Brisgard

Here's my main world that I play on. Brisgard. Where I'm in Industrial Age, and planning to stay there for quite a time. The fighting buildings are coming along well. I think I'll be able to at least finish GE2 fighting soon. I'm getting used to the Industrial Age units too. The Howitzer is a beast, and a combo of them and Lancers is what I use most. I might get rid of my Rifleman building and build another Lancer one soon. I still have too many goods buildings too. I can probably do without ones from the first few ages now. Oh, I have all BPs and goods for Castel Del Monte, and will build that soon, once I have room for it.

On all worlds, the soccer event has been the main focus, and they've all finished the quest chain, but quite a lot of GE was done this week too. That's mostly how my Diamonds went up so much this week. I'm up to 3715 now!!

I'm thinking of getting Dunarsund to the next age tomorrow. That reminds me. I should start putting FPs into the first techs of High Middle Ages :)

Great Soccer Event Progress!!

Yes. The Soccer Event is going strong on all Worlds. They all have the main buildings and they are all level 3 or 4 right now depending on their progress. Only Sinerania and East-Nagach are behind on the quest chain. On all other worlds, they have completed all the rush quests and are now on the single day quests waiting for the next one to show up.

There's been more progress on East-Nagach this week too. I got Statue of Zeus up, and have a Wishing Well and a Rogue Hideout, and now it's really pushed for space. No more space is coming though. I guess I'll delete more Cottages and maybe Blacksmiths if I need to build other stuff. I mean to level up to EMA as soon as the Soccer Event is over.

East Nagach

I don't know why Sinerania is a bit behind on the quests though. But it doesn't matter, I expect both East Nagach and Sinerania to catch up soon.

I didn't spend Diamonds this week, and focused on the Soccer quests. But I did have time to take most worlds into GE and get quite a bit done this week. So, the Diamonds have gone up to 3190. That's with a lot of bad luck in GE4 too. Quite a few misses (more than 75%) on the 50% chance for tons of Diamonds. Oh well, I'm sure it'll level out in the future. There were some hits on the Wishing Wells this week.

On Brisgard, I completed more of the continent map with Negotiating, but will not level to the Progressive Era after the event. I will wait for a lot longer. I think I'll level up on Dunarsund though. I will use it as a test to see if I should do it on Houndsmoor and Sinerania. It will be interesting to see what GE is like with High Middle Ages armies :)

Quite a few more Wishing Wells from the event this week, but not all of them have been placed yet because of lack of space.
