Finished with the Halloween Event!!

Hi,

Hmm. How can I be finished with the Halloween Event when there are still 9 days to go in the event, you might ask? Well, unlike other events where you have to wait until the last day to get the final upgrade for the event building, this one was quite different. I got the final upgrade (to the House of the Wolf on all worlds BTW) a few days ago. I think they were very lenient with the actual game, just calculating how fast you could get through it if you didn't optimize getting your tools (by waiting for 395 tickets and buying the largest tool pack each time). Of course, I'll still play the event, especially on my two Wishing Well worlds, if Wishing Wells or Shrink Kits come up as the daily special.

Talking of the the Wishing Well worlds, they got some Wishing Wells earlier in the event, and then just got some Shrink Kits when it was the special. This saved some space and allowed more Wishing Wells to be built.

As far as Diamonds go, the total raised up to 12,716 this week. Not a measly 500 Diamonds gained this week though. At least 900. I spent 400 on two BPs for the ARC on East-Nagach, and think I spent some on an expansion too. Here's East-Nagach now:

A New ARC

I did get a lot of GE done on all the worlds this week, but again got some really bad luck in GE3 and GE4. I missed the 100 Diamonds on GE3 on every world again this week. And, I believe more than half of the 50% GE4 ones. Anyway, I can't really complain, as I got quite a few hits from Wishing Wells this week.

Other than that, I just continued getting Cultural Settlements done, and doing some GBG, and trading goods to get a balanced lot on most worlds.

Rushing the Halloween Event!!

Hi,

I rushed this event like I've never rushed another event before. I think I'm getting the hang of rushing these events, seeing where the bottlenecks are, and pushing through them quickly. Here's a summary of some of the stuff I've been doing:

Gain Happiness: Construct Ponds, or Demolish roads and re-construct them

Gain Population: Construct Multi-Story Houses, or Construct and Demolish Production Buildings

Gather Supplies: Construct and Demolish Houses

Gather Coins: Construct and Demolish Production Buildings

That's just some of the stuff. Another is looking ahead to see when 8-hr or 4-hr production will be needed and start them up ahead of time. Obviously, you need some space (a 4x4 space is enough) for constructing buildings (like goods, production, etc.).

So, with all this, all 7 Worlds have completed 30 quests and are into the Daily ones now. The event building has been constructed on East-Nagach and Noarsil, that have the most spare space. It will be built on others when they get more space.

Here's East-Nagach now:

The House of Horrors is actually level 6 now. The 1200 tickets from quest 30 pushed it through. This is probably one of the easiest events to get a maxed out event building.

As for GE and Diamonds, I did still get quite a bit done this week. I'm at 12,271 right now, after spending quite a bit on several 400 Diamond expansions. I also got quite a bit of bad luck in GE this week, missing the 100 Diamond reward on GE level 3 completion on every single world. Missed a lot of the 50/50 ones in level 4 too.

Lots of worlds will be ready to age up soon, but will have to wait until the end of the Halloween Event.

Another Harvest Barn!!

Well, I spent a lot of Diamonds this week. I bought all the 200 Diamond Expansions on all Worlds and this gave me just about enough space for the Harvest Barn on Brisgard. I needed to buy another 400 Diamond expansion there to get it placed though. I made the mistake of thinking it was a 7x6 set, when it's really an 8x6 set because of the road requirements. So, I'm missing out on 3 FPs from the Begonia Bench, because of the imperfect configuration. All the other rewards are there though.

The Barn on Brisgard

On Dunarsund and Sinerania, I did make it to the end of the Tech Tree for the ages they are now in. That's Colonial for Dunarsund, and Late Middle Ages for Sinerania. They're now using swap threads again to get GBs leveled, just like all the other worlds.

There's not much else going on really. I played lots of GE this week, and made tons of Diamonds doing it. I ended up with 11,721, with all the spending I did this week. I hope to be in a position to get all the 400 Diamond expansions soon.

I added some more Wishing Wells this week, with the extra space on Dunarsund and Sinerania. I'm now up to 78 Wishing Wells, and getting quite a few 50 Diamond hits on them regularly now.

Great Buildings are coming along nicely, and I'm trying to concentrate on leveling a single GB on each World.

I'm also trying to get the Daily done on each World, but it's a bit difficult with my work schedule. Goods are coming along nicely on most Worlds, and some more will be ready to Age Up soon. I'll probably wait until the Halloween event is over though.

Completed Event!!

Hi,

The Fall Event was over this week. I successfully completed it on all 7 Worlds. That is, I got all the fields, and all the upgrades needed for the Barn. As you know, I only built it on East-Nagach, but I'm keeping all the event stuff on all the other Worlds, in case I want to build it later. Even though it's a multi-building set, it does seem to have a lot to offer. Here's East-Nagach, with all the fields, and a Level 4 Barn.

LOL. I don't know why I was mousing over the Tannery when I took this screenshot :) East-Nagach is moving along nicely now. There's lots of spare space in the bottom left of the city, maybe ready for an ARC at some point?

I did Age up on Dunarsund and Sinerania. They are making good progress moving through the Tech trees, and upgrading buildings to their new age. Colonial Age for Dunarsund, and Late Middle Ages for Sinerania. It's also fun getting new expansion space, both from the techs, and the Continent Maps.

Well, another good week for GE and Diamond acquisition. I finished the week on 12,438 Diamonds. How come a weird number there? Well, I got a couple of quests on Brisgard that gave Diamonds. With Chateau Frontenac, they were increased a funny amount. So it's always going to be an off number of Diamonds from now on. I really am planning on spending some soon. Honestly.

I got most of the Diamonds from GE. All worlds except one got to GE 4 but didn't complete it this week. I also got quite a few hits on Wishing Wells and Fountains of Youth, and got quite a few from quests too.

I'm so glad the Fall Event is over. I'm just trying to get the Daily done now on each world, and gather Supplies, Goods, FPs, and Coins. I'm getting ready to Age up on more worlds after the Halloween event, I guess. I've realized why Dunarsund and Sinerania where ahead of the pack when getting ready. It's because of all the Wishing Wells. They're getting way more goods and stuff than other worlds.
